Unemployed?
If you are unemployed, you can apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you meet the eligibility criteria, at no cost to you (the course will be fully funded). If you are currently employed, but looking to reskill for a career change with a new employer, you can apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you meet the eligibility criteria, at no cost to you (the course will be fully funded).
Employed?
If you are employed, and looking to upskill to take on additional responsibilities or a new position with your current employer, then your employer will be asked to contribute 10% or 30% of the course price, depending on the business size.
*Eligibility
You may be eligible to apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you:
- Are aged 19 or over
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Must be residents of Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Wolverhampton
- Meet residency requirements
- Meet minimum education requirements for a particular course
- Have access to a laptop/PC with reliable internet access
- If you claim Universal Credit, you can apply and continue to claim benefits
