Our Impact

Bringing joy this Easter across our Restart Scheme communities

This Easter, teams delivering the Restart Scheme came together to support participants and local communities through an Easter Egg Drive, helping ensure families and children did not miss out during the holiday period.

Thanks to the generosity of Iceland Foods, a large donation of Easter eggs was made available to Restart Scheme participants across our offices in Cardiff, Birmingham, Coventry and West Bromwich. The donation supported families directly, offering a small but meaningful way to mark Easter and easing pressure during what can be a difficult time for some households.

Alongside this, our teams also used the Easter drive as an opportunity to deliver added social value by supporting external charities within the communities where the Restart Scheme contract is delivered. Each office selected a local organisation to support, ensuring contributions were targeted to meet local needs and benefit children and young people directly.

  • The Birmingham office partnered with Birmingham Children’s Trust, donating 95 Easter eggs to support children across the city.
  • In West Bromwich, 119 Easter eggs were donated to Sandwell Young Carers, helping recognise and support young people with caring responsibilities.
  • The Coventry team supported University Hospital Coventry, with 10 Easter eggs donated to be distributed to children of all ages receiving care.
  • In Cardiff, staff personally donated 25 Easter eggs to Llamau, a charity supporting young people, including those affected by homelessness.

This activity reflects the wider values of the Restart Scheme; supporting people, strengthening communities, and working in partnership to deliver meaningful outcomes beyond employment support alone. By working closely with trusted partners like Iceland Foods and local community organisations, Restart Scheme teams are able to respond to local needs and make a positive contribution where it matters most.
