Toby looks to the future after completing the School Business Professional Apprenticeship

Toby, an employee at Chaigeley School, was recommended the School Business Professional Apprenticeship (SBPA) by his manager, who had previously completed the course. Toby decided to embark on the programme with the ambition to become a School Business Manager. He believed that completing the SBPA course would help advance his career by qualifying him as a School Business Manager, thus expanding his opportunities to progress.

Course Experience

Toby had a positive experience with the SBPA programme. He valued the combination of independent online learning and interactive workshop days, which provided a refreshing change and enhanced the learning experience. His coach, Karen Cook, played a pivotal role in Toby’s journey, offering extensive support and ensuring he was thoroughly prepared for the End-Point Assessment (EPA).

Impact on Career

While Toby is currently exploring various opportunities within his career, the SBPA course has already aided his progression within Chaigeley School. He is confident that the skills and knowledge gained will aid in further career advancements. Toby said:

“The course has been instrumental in supporting my career progression toward becoming a School Business Manager. The workshop days were engaging, and the exceptional support from my coach ensured I was well-prepared for the end point assessment.”
